I'm using 3.2 portable(trying it after seeing this notice.) I'm just wondering. It seems to be a stand-alone exe with no .ini file settings. Does anyone know if it's possible to have it start up with no drive check boxes selected? Every time I bring it up I have to "uncheck all" and it's a bit annoying.

When I click Read Online Manual in the help it just brings me to a splash page with no real manual.

I like the right click chkdsk feature though.

Hm.. I not using this software,I'm using Defraggler.

Seems like there's no way to have it come up without the check marks. I could ignore that, but it seems like it accesses the disks to check them out. I'd rather have it come up and do nothing until told.

But, it's secondary for me. Most of the time I'll use Puran. A single exe file portable is fine as a secondary utility.

From trial and error I found that if you close the program with one or more drives checked, those same check marks will be there the next time the program opens. If none are checked, it will check them all on start up.

edit: the way to have it come up and do nothing seems to be check only a removable drive that has nothing inserted, then close the app. On next open it will not show an error message. The removable drive will just be the one selected.
