Auto opening of program??

Using XP I had written a program that opened automatically on certain dates when the computer was first turned on. I have the same program but it doesn't open on Win7 on the dates it is program to open. I believe I was able to have the program set to open by enter "RUN" and select programs to be open on start-up. I can't find the same start_up procedure on Win 7.
Is there a way to have a program open when the computer is first turned on???

Hello Bob,

You could add a shortcut of the program to the Startup folder in the Start Menu to have it open/run at startup.
