So I've been wondering, if its possible/true that when some process takes over 300 000kt its power is automaticly cut off? I noticed this while playing warcraft that when the game did show me that it didnt have any connection to the host, wc3.exe took over 300 000kt, but instantly after I've gotten disconnected from the game, it drops somewhere around 100 000kt, and I can join instantly into a new game.

So, I also noticed that in resource monitor there was this thing called something like ''Windows automatical shutdown'', but im not sure of its in the english windows cause im using the finnish one.

Could there be something like this? And if there is, am I able to get that off somehow, because its kicking me out from every single game I try to play?

Looking forward for your answers (:

Heh well first, what do you mean by "takes over 300 000kt" ?

But regardless, there have been others that experienced computers shutting down due to severe overheating when playing games.

I di not know if there is a built in shutdown for over temp myself actually, but monitor CPU/MB temps and make sure your not overheadting your computer.

We could help you alot more if you told us about your computer system. How much memory, what video card, what cpu, what network, etc, etc.

BTW I think you mean 300, 000 Kb (b) of memory.

Actually it shows me 300 000KT, but anyways the temperature did stay about 24celsius.

Well 24C is really low (which is good) so it's not that...

And I believe that your saying that 300Meg of memory is used (out of 3 gig) so that's not anything to worry about either.

Are you using the computer when this happens? Like actively typing and using the mouse? Or is it sitting idle or watching a movie?

Well, mostly when I'm playing warcraft 3, but not like when I'm watching movies, or playing cs or etc.
So yes, when doing something.
