turning off in a shut down way or just turn off in a blink? and if it isnt about hardware i suppose you should look on your software. any recent sofware installed before that happens?

Looks like your windows 7 is an old rc/beta copy.

Click on Start button, in the Run box, type "winver" without quotes. Post a screenshot or copy and paste what it says.

The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010. You’ll also need to install the programs and data that you want to use.

Ok, so you're not using RC. Then you need to provide more details like how often it shuts down, what program/s were running at the time.

Also what are the temperatures on your system? Overheating can cause shutdowns. Download and install speedfan, that'll tell you the cpu, gpu and hdd temps.

Check your power settings, is it set to sleep/hibernate after a certain period? Also, does your computer turn off completely, or does it simply sleep or hibernate. What i mean is do you need to reboot afterwards or just resume?

I uninstalled WAT and it did not remove my activation line. I'm going to ask an obvious question. Is this a legitimate copy of Windows that you purchased or came installed on the computer you purchased and have you activated it?

1) If you bought it with preactivated oem win7, it should have a rainbow sticker with a key on it. Thats called a COA sticker and COA key. Uninstall RemoveWAT, clean your system of all loaders/ activators/ mods, then use the phone activation method to activate with the COA key.

2) If this is not an OEM install and you paid for the win7, then somebody took you for a ride by bypassing activation with RemoveWAT. Get back to that person and demand a refund.
