Avast Flags VHD File as Trojan

Ran a full virus scan on my physical machine and Avast flagged the XP VHD file as a trojan. Ran a full scan using Avast on my virtual machine and nothing.

Anyone aware of false alarms regarding the vhd and virus scanners?

Yeah, it does the same thing for me as well. It (FP) flags the vhd as a decompression bomb or a trojan. Just add it to your Standard Shield Exclusion list, as it's just a false positive.

I have also like the term, "A false positive. Interesting. Could that be termed an oxymoron.

Oops, now having seen that I recall posting about the decompression bomb, but not the false positive about the vhd file.

Thanks alot. I was unsure about why it was flagging, but the bomb makes sense again now.
