Probably a biased reply, but most likely AVG 9. I've used AVG for quite a while now, and it's never given me any problems, and has kept my PC running clean since I started using it.

avg has many false positive.. slow scanning , little heavy

Avast has good AV benchmarks, but the interface takes some getting used to...

I too saw that AVG was a little heavy on resources and doesn't scan for rootkits...

You're probably talking about the older version (4.8). The new beta v5 looks great and has a straightforward interface.

i want silent firewall, but avg is annoying asking 4 everything..
dont know about avast firewall..
