Hi,
Come here in desperation.Ready to leave 7 & go back to my Windows Xp partition, less can sort this.Watch a lot of films & kills the rest of the experiance which 64bit 7 brings & I love.

My problems is,no matter what player I use even VLC.The video doesnt play smooth, kinda jittery when camera is paning or people move fast.
Have tried K-lite 64bit package & Sharks package + 64bit plug in.Still same..Tried the Win7DSFilterTweaker to change everything to stop using Microsoft. Then uninstalled all the codecs, deleted them using Doom 9's method, via Zoom player.Reinstalled & same probems.
My GPU is a Zotac 260GTX with latest Nvidia drivers.CPU is AMD 940 Phenom,4GB DDR2 ram + Velicoraptor 300GB drive.Shouldnt be any hardware problems!
Anyone having similar problems or any help much appreciated.
Thanks for taking time to read.
Justin

Yeah pretty much every player out there (exception Windows Media Player) using these freebie codec packs are having a real tuff time on Windows 7. I can only assume why is because all the codecs are made the old fashion way with DirectShow. When Microsoft is moving to Media Foundation as a result DirectShow has been removed from DirectX.

Problem is solved for anyone else having similar problems.
GOM player or KMPlayer plays videos smooth & clear, unlike Zoomplayer (my personal choice, dont ask me why.)& VLC.Suprised VLC doesnt play good am sure they will sort it out soon.
Basicaly all the codec packs suck when it comes to windows 7 64bit at this present time in my experiance.
Also just installed an XFI card today. So sound & video running really nice :)
