Solved background keeps changing every 10 seconds

hey guys quick question
in personalization my setting for "Change background" is greyed out
and stuck on "change background every:"
and its set to 10 seconds and i cant change it !!
why!!!! the "shuffle" option is also unchangable at the moment

Nope, I think you did the right thing because the problem may recur. If so, come on back to this thread and you may be able to solve the problem.

In this context it should be noted that the system seems to associate certain settings with the screen background folder. I noticed that for the cursor settings. If e.g. you have "Windows Aero" with one background and "Windows Black" with another background, it will change the cursor settings when you change the background.

That makes a certain sense because a black cursor may go better with predominantly light pictures and a white one with dark pictures.
