Solved Backing up everything !?

Is there a way or is it even possible to do a full backup for windows updates drives programs settings ,every single thing on drive c ?

Hi You could clone the drive or do a system image.

So lemme get this right,i can just right-click drive C copy,format it then install windows and just past the copied C above the new one and everything is back normal ? gpu drivers,games,wallpaper,startup programs,disabled services etc ?

No. Not even close.

Imaging makes a file that represents one or more partitions that is later formally restored, making the drive to which it is restored bootable. The file is a backup of whatever partitions were chosen. Imaging is most often used to recover from a bad situation. You make the image file every so often and hope you never have to use it. You restore by booting from a previously made boot disc and use the imaging program to restore the image file to the drive of your choice.

Cloning copies the contents of a drive to another drive in real time. It's not a backup in the traditional sense of the word. Cloning is most often used when things are going well and you just want to move an existing system to another hard drive, usually a new one. You could also use imaging for the same purpose.

In neither case do you "copy C" or "paste" anything.

Both can work. Both can fail. Have a Plan B for when that happens. If they work as advertised, everything on the old partitions will be on the new system--Windows, configuration info, disabled services, applications, drivers, pictures of your cat, etc.
