Backup 7MC Settings

I'm looking for a method to backup my scheduled recording/settings for media center before performing a clean install of windows 7.

I don't mind manually copying the files and replacing them, but I don't know their locations.

Any help?

Have you tried mceBackup?

It might be in the hidden AppData folder in your user account.

Yeah, I never found an answer...I upgraded to 7000 then promptly performed a clean install of 6956 after realizing cablecard support was/is broken...still waiting for an answer.

Would be nice to be able to backup tv channel settings and scheduled recordings.

It's possible to backup and restore recording schedules for Windows 7 Media Center but no one has come up with a solution for restoring the lineup and other details yet. Check out the guide on recording schedule backup here.
