Backup and Restore Questions

This is not good. I never had this problem. How is the disk to which you imaged attached - USB2, USB3, eSata or Internal? Mine are USB2 or Internal.

Hello again -- not sure this thread is still open or if I should open a new one...

I bought a new portable USB drive over Xmas and am preparing to back up three different PC's in my home.

Do I need to create a different Rescue Disk for each PC ?

One is running W7 64 bit PROF -- one is W7 64 Bit Home Prem --- one is W7 32 Bit Home Premium.

I think you need a different one for 64bit and 32bit. I usually make one for each system - but then my systems are in 3 locations thousands of miles apart.
On the external disk I suggest you make a seperate folder for the images of each system. Then the images do not get mixed up.
