Backup Error 0x80780048

The backup tool is complaining about not having enough space for a backup but it wants 18GB and I have over 88GB on my backup target drive.

Anyone else seen this?

I did see in another forum that it was related to a system restore backup. If that's the case, does anyone know how I can determine how much space everything will take? Seems strange that it's not telling me the entire space requirement. (If that is the case with the restore image)

Thanks for the information.

I do want to create a recovery image too. To me this is the most important part of doing a backup.

Any insight on how I can get the image created?

Thanks for the little RTFM nudge!

Turns out my problem is that my backup location does not have enough space for the image. It's really confusing since the scheduled backup tells you that you don't have enough room, but doesn't include the space for the image. VERY misleading!

No nudge intended... all of the tutorials are written by Shawn Brink, one of our administrators and we all would be lost without them. Im glad that you have it sorted out..
