Backup error question

After I did a backup last night it tells me that it completed but some files were not backed up(see screenshot), and when I click on "view skipped files" I see this...

Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Themes. Error:The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002))

I am just wondering why it's looking for something that isn't there,and if that should be there, where it went?
Just before the backup I did a sfc/scannow and then ran the universal theme patcher successfully.

A system image, back up, will copy your entire drive
System restore will back up the OS

If you choose to back up only your personal documents (back up and restore), you will choose what to back up. Is this the back up that you made? If so, your notice only indicates that not all your documents were backed up, which was probably your choice.

Actually it was a backup and system image and I had the "let windows choose" option checked, I was mostly wondering why it was looking for something that is not there, and if it is supposed to be there where or why it's not?

Lets see if ithis is a one time error. Delete all restore points (can be done by turning backup off and then on again). Now try to back up again, and see what happens. Even if this was a one time error, it will still occur, on every attempt, since it is an incremental back up (unless you delete the old restore points).

Well I just finished the backup, I turned off system protection and deleted the previous backup and restore points and I get the same error I posted above. I also am noticing a few threads in this section on backup errors so I think I'm gonna try a third party app and see how that works out. I still don't understand why it's looking for something that's not there? Anyway thanks for your help richc46. If anybody else has had this problem or knows what that file is that it is looking for (C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Themes. Error:The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002))

I never did get this resolved, I just use the system image and manually back up my data and turn off messages about windows backup so I don't see them any more.
Good luck with that, I hope you figure it out.
