I use Windows 7's Backup and Restore utility to save backup of my files on my netbook. I have a spare backup partition and a external HDD, how do I set Windows Backup to backup files on the two backup destinations at a schedule and automatically?

PC Specs:
OS: Pre-installed Windows 7 Starter 32-bit
Internal HDD: Hitachi Travelstar HTSZ7X320 320GB
External HDD: Toshiba Canvio Simple 1TB.

PS: I only use my PC for doing paperworks, such as writing documents and creating presentation and sometimes internet surfing.

Thank you...

I do not recommend setting up for backups to be done automatically. For that to happen, the backup drives would have to be connected at all times. Drive failure is a major cause of data loss but it isn't the only cause. Things like, human error (accidental deletion), viruses and other malware, power supply failure, theft, natural disasters, etc. can also cause data to be lost on all of a computer's drives, both internal and external. The best way to avoid data loss on backup drives is to connect them to the computer only when updating a backup. Also, backing up data to an internal partition is just as risky as keeping an external drive connected at all times. It would be far safer to use two external drives.

Most people here prefer using Macrium Reflect Free (here is a good tutorial on how to use Macrium Reflect) over Windows backup and restore. With Macrium Reflect, you can easily copy an image from one drive to another; not so much with Windows imaging.
