Backup Now brings up system 32 folder

This happens when trying to do a manual backup by selecting Backup now or when I click on Manage space or Change settings. The Windows > System 32 folder opens. I can't do anything from that point as it just opens the folder with its list of files. I tried turning the backup schedule off and it did that but now I can't turn the backup schedule back on because when I click on it, it also opens the System 32 folder. I'm not sure how to fix this it seems to be a pathway error, instead of taking me to the right page it takes me to the system32 folder.

System 32 file folder display

If you are running a computer with Home Premium, and you have one primary hard drive, you will get the system 32 file folder display. Premium is not seeing another backup device on your computer. You have to add an external OR internal additional hard drive. Also, what I tried to do was backup to one of my network servers in my home, and it did not like that as Home Premium will NOT allow network backup locations. You must upgrade (thanks Microsoft) to at least Windows 7 Professional for another $89. So you have two options, buy a terrabite for $100 bucks or less, or upgrade and use another server on your network as your back up device. It would be nice if Microsoft would pop a display up telling us this rather than spending hours on the phone with people who do not know it either.
