Hello,

I recently installed a SSD and after many hours was able to clone my exsisting O.S. to the SSD. My previous main hard Drive was a 300 gig Raptor.

I was able to run a trim program on my SSD, WD IDE 320 gig daily backup drive and a WD 2 TB Data and Weekly Backup Drive. (All Internal)

I also use differant Sata and IDE swap drive bays to store external backups on older hard drives that have not been trimmed with the triming software. All drives were checked with Paragon Alignment and they all show up as green or O.K.

The problem is I cannot get Windows System Restore or Windows Backup to restore my SSD. I keep getting errors about disc size or some other error.

Has anyone been able to restore a SSD using SR?

Has anyone been able to do a complete restore their SSD with Win 7 built in backup?

If so will you tell me what I need to do to get my backup and restore process back up and working?

Thank You Very Much! ;)

What partitions are included in your system image by Windows Backup?

A screen shot of Windows Disk Management would help.

What's the trim problem?

Thank you for the reply,

The SSD has something wrong with it. I am returning it and going to try again.
Hopefully this one will not have the same problems.

Thanks Again
