Hi there. I was running XP and windows 7 64bit on the same disk. I wanted to repair XP for a new motherboard. Well it won't start, because of a driver problem so I get a blue screen. At this point I no longer care, I want to boot into my Windows 7 installation. However, the boot sector is messed up and boot process goes straight into XP. When I use the windows 7 64 bit install disk, it offers no repair options. What now? How can I fix the boot sector for windows 7? I already used fixmbr with the XP disk. HELP! Thanks in advance for your tip.
