Bad Image error d3d9.dll

Every time I launch Camtasia 8 I get this windows error message that says

"C:\Windows\System32\d3d9.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support."

I tried reinstalling the software several times with the installers old and new I get from the techsmith.com website.

Pleas help!!

I see you have posted the same question on multiple forums.
d3d9.dll is related to Direct X, try updating it and then rebooting the Computer.
