base device system

hello i have hp pavilion dv4 series entertainment notebook came with vista , i formated it and install window 7 but i discover that my touch mouse on the notebook is not working properly also base system device is not found . please advice me on what to do

Welcome to seven forums hostalla: At the bottom of this page and any page with similar issues you'll find threads on that issue. Most of the times it is a card reader driver or Richo or Alps touchpad driver. So go to HP site and find your laptop and download drivers for these 2 items(* if not 7 Vista will work in compatibility mode) and it should resolve your issue. Or you can go to device manager>click on the item>click properties>details tab>drop down menu>hardware id and copy and paste the code and we can find the driver for you. i install the two driver .In my device manger i still have unknown device that is not
installed

one problem i have is that the mouse pointer is behaving funning .when i put my hand is run around and some time freeze. but this is not virus

then you will have to install the ene cir receiver driver

then the hp protectsmart hard drive protect
