If the water causes those floor boards to warp, the landlord may need to use Squeeeeek No More to keep the boards from squeaking...either that or lay a new floor.

Oh there is no wood flooring left as you can see in the picture he has no choice but to lay new flooring down, since the base flooring is concrete he wants to let it dry first before laying new flooring down,

And yes Colonel it is crazy how fast it happens... very fast and water is very damaging.
