Have you ever done this, where you take a print screen, set it as the wallpaper, then end explorer.exe so people think its frozen?

Does anyone know of how to write a batch file to do this automatically?

Yea iv done that at school before, and the teachers actually unplug their comps and restart them. Its funny.

Well,, This whole process could not necessarily be completely automated through batch scripting, without doing some major scripting... is this on a 7 system?

If so, Powershell would be the better solution. I might be able to work something up.

This would take some time, and someone may come up with something before me.

If you can create the screen shot yourself, then a simple regkey file would work.

This would be a harmless prank, so, I'll see what I can come up with, when I get time.
