I've got lots more than 1 DVD of tunes on my drive that I wish to share with a friend who does not yet have his own machine. I'd like to burn the tunes to the necessary several DVD's for his later use. Although uploading same to my skydrive account and allowing him access to my credentials (which I would later change) for his downloading would be far more efficient--it's probably a couple of steps past the comfort zone.

So here's the question/problem. I have Nero 8 on my machine (which I despise) and tried to Add all the dirs to the Burn queue but Nero cleverly(--) announced there was too much data for 1 DVD absent providing the suggestion/ability to span n DVD's to accomplish the task.

Can someone recommend a freeware application that has this minimal intelligence to do what Nero couldn't or wouldn't do a la paragraph 2?

Thanks,

Mark

There is a limited number of programs to burn cds/dvds.

And there is only one that I know has a feature some-what similar to what you are talking about.
The Official ImgBurn Website
Feature is called ImgBurn Write Queue, but you can only put iso files and other cd/dvd images in that queue, NOT separate mp3 files.

What you are describing as "cleverly behavior" is an industry standard: a person need to select size of the single disc first and then fill that disc with data, if filled, create another disc and etc.
