Battery error

recently im getting an error message about the battery
it keeps popping up

atleast it stopped for a while
but tel me one thing ...is my battery ok
and what is the permanent way to resolve this .....i mean it will pop up again when ill restart....

it worked well....but i want to know why it happened...is my battery fine ??

one more thing ....my fn(function keys for adjusting brightness is also not working..........

now my laptop gets shut down ( not even shut down ..., it just switch off at the middle of my work )without giving any warning .....
also it wont start even if i try to switch on......
though it starts after dozens of hits.....
im not a software engg.. dont know much about this stuff.....n getting this kind of problem screw me up...
plz HELP me ASAP

The fixes I mentioned are for your Vaio mistakenly saying there's a battery problem when there isn't, but it sounds like you actually do have a battery issue. I would recommend getting a replacement battery (almost always covered by manufacturer's warranty) through Sony.
