Battle for Middle Earth 2 "Please insert correct CD-ROM"

I wanted to get back into Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth 2. But, as I press play on the launch application it stops and says "please insert the correct CD". I have the right one in there, but he keeps showing this message. Any help would be awesome.

Does Windows Explorer recognise the disk?

Yeah, the computer recognizes the disk and everything. Just the launcher doesn't think it's there.

I dont know if this will work or not but try it if you want.
Download a software called virtual clone drive (its free btw),then copy the data from you disc on to you're computer. Then when your done,Click on the .exe or setup file and select mount this in Drive (whatever it names it) and then try again. There could be a problem with the DVD rom of some sort,you never know about these things. This way you wont need to insert the disc ever again if it works. Try restarting your PC once too after installing.

same problem with NFS carbon i installed it when i launch says "insert the DVD in Dvd drive" just put the crack folder in the installed directory and problem solve in my case it was was ramoz117 name just copy an paste
