Battlefield 2 crashes after joining a server.

Hey Guys and Girls i need help with my Battlefield 2.

My Problem:

When I finished joined a server the game crashes. Sometimes it let me play for 10 minutes and then it crashes. I dont know what to do??????


I tryed:

Start with admin Rights , with Mode "Windows XP Service Pack 3" . turn my firewall off. delete all temp files


My System:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
GTX 285 Black Edition

What about patching the game to 1.4 or 1.5? Have you tried that?

have you updated you Nvidia drivers to the latest version?

i already have the patch 1.5 on my battlefield 2

my card driver is up to date

This is joining a dedicated server and not LAN, right?

is it a punkbuster problem?

try downloading and running pbsetup.

My brother have to use the nvidia beta drivers for his gtx 260 card for BF3 because it improved performance, not sure if it was something else also. But I guess you could give it a try

the big giveaway clue was talking about patch 1.5.

I am joining on a real server

No punktbuster is up to date and the bf2 punktbuster files are too up to date

and my Video Card drive is up to date because i played the Bf3 beta
