baxic program background suddenly changes

Hello Seven Forums,

As you can see or maybe not all of my program backgrounds, task other windows in Administrator area everything it seams have changed to white after i ran the 5 step process that runs only on a restart, took about 6 hours to do a 1.5 TB drive, then I checked defrag, only found 1 frgmented so I did not defrag. the desktop looks pretty good but the big thing that sticks out is the task bar being pure white, have re-installed the Nvidia drivers, no change, any ideas. Somehow got back had no go back dates except today at an earlier time, this stated yesterdsy.

Um I ma having difficulty in keeping up with you JM do you mean the desktop wallpaper or just with personalising the machine as a whole.

If it is the latter go into Control Panel > Display > Personalise > see pic

I think yesterday someone asked me if it was going to rain and I replied going on a train where are we going. I solved the problem with the GLOBE start icon with the word start and the white on all programs was because someow the desk top theme was changed to the high contrast versin of the us THEME, when I discovered I went back to normal EVERYTHING teturned normal. Try it sometime all the programs look very different.

Sorry for bothering everyone, I got to stop and think. Thanks anyway
