BB alltel/Verizon tether

When I was using vista platform I was able to connect to the internet via bb alltel/verizon tether. Please I need help connecting to the internet with window 7 . I upgraded to window 7 from vista now I made a new connection and it dials cause i heard the beeps but then wait and wait and then comes back saying remote computer did not answer, now i connect my phone to my other computer xp and it works, please help I need to know what to do!!!!!! Please anybody!!!!

First Welcome to the "Seven Forums."

You may need to check on Alltel/Version's web sites and see if they have new drivers for your phone, and whatever other communication devices you may have. I use Version and had to upgrade to the new VZAccess Manager.

Hey I know what you problem is and why it is that it will work with windows xp and not windows 7... Pretty much until march of next year you won't be able to teather you verizon device to windows 7 unless it is one of the blackberry pretty much all of them where ready for it....Even the android doesn't teather at all...I mean not like you need it one there it is like haveing a computer 7 applications at the same time and the fastest processor on the market but anyways back to teathering... If your plan is to teather then all you can do it do it on xp or lower...sorry man....but you should remove the 30 dollar feature and if you have a smart device then get the android it is the only way to do it if you want internet on the run
