Thank you for your prompt reply yowanvista. Last night I tried a reinstall of the Windows 7 64 bit operating system and rebooted each time I installed another driver (including motherboard drivers). The blue screen only reappeared during shutdown after installing the driver for my dual TV tuner card (Leadtek PCI Winfast DTV2000 DS). Would it be possible that the AppleCharger.sys is conflicting with the Leadtek driver in some manner OR is their a known problem with my TV tuner card? Thanks again.

AppleCharger.sys was the cause, you should uninstall this driver or the software using it
Or just go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and rename AppleCharger.sys to AppleCharger.sys.old (do this in safe mode)

I know this is an old-ish post, but I am having the same issue.

Any luck/disaster finding a gigabyte-approved way to deal with this?
