I ran a quick scan with malwarebytes then the Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller. No threats detected

Hello reeseman, sorry for the late response, I'm having some car trouble at the moment.

I found this in problem devices:MpKsl2d59bbad ROOT\LEGACY_MPKSL2D59BBAD\0000 This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.

At first I thought it was a virus, hence the Scans, but it could be a bad install of a device.

Can you boot into safe mode then go to device manager and see if you can locate it, you might have to go to 'view' > 'show hidden devices' in device manager. Once found right click then uninstall, then reboot as normal, observe what happens, if anything!!

I have more instructions after you have completed the above!!

Thanks and sorry again for the late response - Ant

No problem at all. I really appreciate your time and help. After removing MpKsl2d59bbad I had no problems booting to windows but i lost sound, windows update, security center and my internet not sure what else didn't work. I had to restore the pc to get MpKsl2d59bbad reinstalled. With the PC in normal mode. I looked in device manager at MpKsl2d59bbad , it is not working correctly it says service is stopped and i can not get it to start. under the general tab it says this (This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24) . When i try to start the service it says ( The system can not find the path specified ) . I did notice in safe mode that MpKsl2d59bbad was working correct and running.

It took me this long to get MSE re-installed it was giving me a fit. MpKsl2d59bbad is still showing an error. I had to turn off all services to get MSE installed I think i'm going to try and turn off a service one at a time. to find the one conflicting with it. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.
