beep code problem

Motherboard: Foxconn M61PML-K
RAM : Kingston 2 Gig/DDR3 1333
BIOS: AMI

Scenario: PC turn on but no display, but after trying some troubleshooting afterwards its getting Non Stop SHORT BEEP same as when i remove the RAM, Since i already check some beep codes for ami ive never seen beep code like this. i dont have any xtra RAM to try but i will try to find soon, but as of now i need some opinion if do u think its really a ram problem. thanks in advance

Make sure your RAM is fully seated, and if you have a graphics card make sure it is fully seated, and the electrical connection is tight(that is, if it has a electrical plug)

I think it is a RAM module problem too. I would suggest trying the computer with one RAM module in at a time. If the problem still persists, get some new RAM modules and the problem should be solved. Let me know if it works and remember to mark the problem as solved if it does :)

im pretty sure that the graphics card is fully seated, i tried the integrated graphics port too and same thing, also i tested the graphics card into another unit and its works.. thanks

it has only one ram sir, and i dont have any FRU but i will try test it soon if i find one :) and i will let you know.. thank you

Oh, I see. Trying it with a different RAM Module (when you get them) may solve the problem (hopefully!)

I finally solved the problem, this board is choosy in terms of RAM brand , since i tried kingston it gives an error but its all good when i tried different ram.
