Hi there
being a Freelance consultant I often get a lot of calls / emails etc from "Head hunters" / agency recruiters or as we in Europe call them "the Pimps".

I get really suspicious when they emphasize that the prospective client is "An EXCELLENT COMPANY".

Why in the world would they even have to bother with this piece of information -- would they really say "This company is a load of 'S---E'. I think not -- so when an agency emphasizes "Good company" I wonder if the company really is a GOOD company or a place you wouldn't even let your DOG work at.

cheers
jimbo

I agree. Overzealousness from any seller makes me take a step back, and isn't that what those are basically? Of course, being in the business I'm in I have a pretty good nose for hype and B.S. ;)
