Solved Belarc vs. Microsoft System 'specs' conflict due to a Clone.

I Cloned the C: drive on my HP 6300 Tower and installed it on an HP 8300 Tower.

The Clone went well and the Cloned drive on the 8300 works as it should.

My concern is the Microsoft System 'specs' reflect the 6300 and not the 8300.

I ran Belarc and their 'specs' are correct.

Is there a way to trigger a 'refresh' to update the Microsoft 'specs'?

If not, is there a manual was to do it?

If so, how?

Model, should read 8300 NOT 6300.
Memory, should read 16 GB RAM NOT 8 GB Ram.
Cores, should read 8 NOT 4.

Hello Mike,

At cmd prompt type:

winsat formal

(then press enter)

It will switch display to basic while it is running. It takes a minute or two to assess everything.

That is a capable machine, the i7 3770 is still a good processor. They are expensive here.
