MilesAhead isn't my favorite Miles album. But it's the best title for a handle.

It's gotta be Teracopy... excellent interface, great speeds, and multiple queued up jobs running one at a time (set it and forget it) makes it no.1 in my book.

The default Vista/Win7 explorer copier takes ages to scan through files (copying or even deleting), gathering god knows what information in the time it takes Teracopy to copy/delete those files.. If there's one thing MS botched with Vista/7 its the explorer's basic file functions which were silky smooth in XP... XP had no such problems.

Teracopy is nice for normal and simple copy operations.

Microsofts free SyncToy 2.1 is great for more advanced stuff like keeping folders synchronized.
