Hello I see there are lots of modded ISOs floating around, many of shady provenance or adding in a bunch of mods or 'tweaks'. I just want ISO preferably built on the genuine August 2018 refresh build released by MS, that just adds drivers for USB 3.0, SATA, and NVME necessary to install W7 on both Intel and AMD systems from the 6th Gen processors onward. No other mods, tweaks, or preferably even OS patches/updates beyond what is already in the official August 2018 media refresh. I would use the Simplix Updater to bring it fully current after installation. Doesn't need to be super current supporting 13th and 14th gen. I could do with up to say 10/11th gen.

Can anyone recommend and provide a link to such a ISO build someone has created, has reputation as trusted by members/users? TIA!

What SIW2 posted is exactly what you want to do. That way you're assured the ISO hasn't been monkeyed with since it's your own creation to enjoy. If you have any questions ask here.

Thanks that looks like it would fit the bill! There are the 'all-in-one' builds (genuine) of Windows 7 w/SP1 sans the ei.cfg file, enabling the selection of the various editions during installation. As opposed to the August 2018 refresh builds which are all edition specific.

Does this method work on those all-in-one ISOs equally well? Or should separate one be created for each edition e.g. Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate

You obviously didnt bother looking at the linked screenshots

It uses the upgrade method. If * is entered, the first image is is processed, then that edition is upgraded to the editions of the other images in the wim. Much faster that way.

lol NO, because I was not yet the point of needing the step-by-step overview and creating the build yet. Planning on doing it today. Thanks again!
