Best performance for gaming

Can you guys recommend some programs so I can play games such as "Counter Strike" with the best performance and no lag. I mean it's rarely lags but I'd like the best .

pity, there is no such thing as "the best". opinions vary. and im not sure what programs you mean. there is little any programs can do, as they have too run in the background, which uses more memory. performance is almost exclusivity Hardware based.
is there an issue in specific you need help with?

You could allways dissable the Transparency of windows ,, and colse all the programs you wont be needing.
Also look for a TEMPCLEAN. and use that once in a while to keep your system at top performance
