I was looking and testing some games on this machine... I know such video card isn't much appreciated in the gaming community, but it's fine to my standards. I've already tried RE5 and it runs pretty well at 720p at highest details settings even if the benchmark says "C" as evaluation, with 25-30 fps which still look good to me (guess I'd go crazy at 60fps....). I would try GTA5 myself... but a 100gb installer is just the most outrageous thing I've ever seen. So, what are some good games to try on this video card ? I mean good looking games which can be played decently at highest settings. Asking the community this because benchmark sites often fail: sometimes they're overstimating the user's settings (maybe a commercial tactic to sell such games), some other times they understimating it (for the sake of "high standards" or stuff like that).

These are the performance ratings for the processor and graphics in your computer.
I'm not a hardware expert nor a gamer, but it's my guess it will struggle to play modern games.

You didn't say how much RAM it has, and if it's using a hard disk drive or solid state drive, and which motherboard it has.
That additional information will help in giving you further advice and suggestions.

about the concept of modern... it's really relative to one's ability or reluctance to sped for nowadays stuff (which is outrageously expensive for me). For me "modern" is anything done around 2010... usually '09 games are difficult to play at high settings (and logically lame, as I prefer older games)... honestly, everytime I hear the word "modern", my brain hurts, lol

I just want to push the current PC to the best it can.

If you use Steam there are a ton actually. You can see the date when the game was added and go from there. YOU think GTA V is massive, Ark and COD are eve bigger!

What kind of gamer are you? First person shooter, strategy, massive roll playing, etc?

The revamped Command & Conquer on Steam is not bad. I think Generals is available via Origin. Just recently on Steam all the GTAs were on sale. You shouldn't have any issues with GTA San Andreas, III, and Vice City.

You can most likely play many games if you turn off all the pp effects
i mean just an example it does not look very nice but its playing games.

Tripple A games like COD, counter strike and many others like these set the net wide because they want their games to run on anything so that they can make heaps of money so they will run good on low spec computers etc. Games like Warcraft are in the same boat and also as the other person mentioned RTS games are less taxing so can run on low computers too.

- - - Updated - - -

its a catch 22 because you are asking what good looking games will run but your GPU cannot do good looking in most cases, it will do fuzzy slide show no worries though.

RE5 like you mentioned works well and is a good example of AAA game that will run on anything and play + look good.
Look for games like this its hard to describe if you don't know but most seasoned gamers will know how to spot them. Linear on rail type games are the sort of games you are looking for vs true open world and ones made by big name companies as they will have fast optimized code etc.

- - - Updated - - -

look at easier games maybe like 2D ones there is plenty of fun 2D games and even isometric games as they are often pseudo 3d.
Minecraft can go a long way?

You are holding this computer back with a GPU like that, you would want to aim for 1080p you could put at least a 780 on it and it will play most games reasonably or well if you know how to min max your setup properly or you could put a 960 or even 980 on it and it will be good for most things.

You could even put a 1660 or a 2070 and up on it and it will do everything all though RTX cards you will be missing some of the feature support because legacy system but they will still work fine and play all games.

I mostly like shooters, action, fighting/brawlers, racing (only 3d... unless it's Mario Kart series), some puzzles... kinda an arcadeish gamer type. I do like RPG's and stealth too, as long as they don't require farming. As regards open world games... I tried Saints Row 3... it goes not like I expected (I think I'll go with the previous episode). It seems like anything made after 2008, except Resident Evil 5, will be a pain for my PC so I'll just adapt to that year as limit. Yeah, I "completed" (not to the fullest) the gta series till 5 (when my ps3 was ok)... unfortunely can't enjoy the "definitive" edition, I'd replay that as well as it looks gorgeous but meh, better luck next machine...
This website will give you a good indication of what games will run on your computer. Can You RUN It Can You RUN It | Can I Run It | Can My PC Run It
Yeah, I know that site, I also know this one System Requirements which doesn't require exe benchmark applications and it's pretty realistic/detailed (as it tells you what specific resource your pc lacks of), but its database lacks of certain old titles I looked for (they're all mostly very well known or modern games).

This is my list. Is kind of a mix bag.
All of them runs with an Nvidia GT710 (2GBvram)
And with just 4GB RAM.

You probably should be able to run almost all of them.

That's a good list. F.E.A.R had some of the best AI back then...

I'll add Golf With Your Friends, Ghost Recon, Monopoly, 7 Days To Die, Age Of Empires, Risk and Supreme Commander. Those are some of the games currently in my Steam library hat you should be able to play with that GPU.

7 days to die will struggle on a GT610 i would be surprised if it even makes it past the loading screen on a GPU like that, the game is not optimized very well and it is also at the pinnacle of Voxel games.

Side note: I have spent hours testing this game and looking over it mainly for ways to improve its performance though self diagnosis. Through my findings i noticed It has a memory leak as it does not release memory very well between games as demonstrated by these two pictures. Going from playing the game actively and then quitting back to the main menu we would expect that any performant game releases that memory but it does not meaning its got a memory leak.

Did you try the memory leak theory without the Mod?
