I installed those reallyslickscreensavers on my Win 7 64, Intel 920 machine with an AMD4890 but all I get is a very slow and stuttering result. Do I need to install something here? I figure my rig should be able to handle these.

Screensavers are irrelevant now(IMO). Set your icons and gadgets as hidden, and your taskbar at auto-hide, and just have a wallpaper slideshow.

Honestly, I'm more interested in the desktop wallpaper and the time/date, weather and system info gadgets(?) mustangman16 has linked in the thumbnail on the 1st page, the one of the Windows logo in electric blue over a speaker grid pattern.

Anyone know where I can get them?

My most favorite screensaver is tthe aquarium one of XP MCE . I now use its alternative Lifeglobe Goldfish Aquarium. They are so real

haha, yeah she wasn't impressedfor some reason , no she happened to be my background at the time (through the slideshow backgrounds) and i was just struck at how evil she looked with the screensaver on lol

Its called "Drop Clock"



very elegant and clean looking screen saver although its not free

you can find more from their main site at SCR

The clock in the middle is HUD Time
The stuff on the right side is Rainmeter, desktop customization tool
You can find all kinds of skins for it one place is at #Rainmeter on deviantART
Be advised there is a warning out there to be careful on what you download.

My all time favorite screensaver is Johnny Castaway by Screen Antics.

This was created way long back in 1992 during Windows 3.1 era. I have seen it for the first time in 1997 and I have been using it from windows 95 till window XP.

I am still fascinated with this screensaver and has not seen anything like this till now. Unfortunately this screensaver will not run in Windows 7 x64 as it was made in 16 bit.

I wish someone recreate it again in 3D and similar screensavers for the 64 bit computers.
