This has been addresses many times, in a number of different threads. Ther are a lot of options, and reading up at sites that specialize in reviews will give you the plus and minus for each.

Bottom line - pick one you like, paid or free - MSE, IObit, MalWareBytes, AVG, Norton, Symantec (if you have a penchant for pain), ESAT, etc., etc., etc.

Home LAN through Linksys hub to 4 port and wireless switch/router. Networked HP 2600n. Wife's computer running Windows 7, and spare laptop running Ubuntu "Karmic Kola" (9.10).
I use a combination of MS Security Essentials and PC Tools Threatfire. Between the two have caught every drive by I came across. They also work nicely together.

Well i have got avg 9.0 and malwarebytes, didn't realize malwarebytes was spy ware, not to good on that department.
