Hi All,

Just a quick question in relation to beta versions of bios for motherboards; should I update it with beta version or should I wait for a full released version? Someone once told me that the beta are not really stable and it's better to wait for full releases. is it true?

Thanks.

personally i only update my bios if i have a specific problem, and the beta release notes say that this problem is cured by the update.

you're right, generally beta's are more unstable then the finished product, as bugs are still being ironed out...

+1 For Mickey's answer. I'd only update BIOS to fix a problem, or to use added features. But I'd only suggest a beta version if no other avenue was available. You can completely brick your PC in BIOS, so if it aint broke, don't fix it applies. A Guy
