BETA Fish, love it or hate it?

Here is our belloved BETA fish

With the RTM just around the corner it looks like Microsoft have chosen to ditch the BETA fish for a new wallpaper with the Windows logo.


My question is....See title LOL

It's the best looking Siamese Fighting fish I have ever seen, and I miss it already..

Having installed it what seems countless hundreds of time, I'm glad to see it go (not that I won't keep a copy among my Win.7 memorabilia).

Neither love or hate it. Rather indifferent, although it is likable.

Ditto with some of the tripped out wall papers.
If they go back to a logo it will be decidedly retrograde.
Everyone KNOWS its microsoft - it doesn't need labelling.

The fish says "this is a nice place, I don't have to shove things at you, change me if you like - I'll just flow with it".

The logo says "Look at me, LOOK AT ME, Look at me"

I liked the fish and it suited the beta. But I agree now is the time for the final wallpaper and its ok (not fantastic).

With the release of RTM builds....it looks like the beta fish is going to be a dead fish
