Every program is better than iTunes

All kidding aside, you need to be a lot more specific for what you want from this program.
If you simply want to listen to music, you may want to check out AIMP3. Runs very fast.
Has media library capability, but I don't use it (I have a very clear folder structure in my music folder, so I find all my songs really quickly using explorer).

So please tell us more about what you need....

its true hahaha

i would recommend winamp, aimp, foobar2000
IMHO those players are better as music players than itunes.
winamp has sync to ipod etc (not sure how good it its. or if other players can do it)
ofcourse you need to be more specific what you need from software because itunes has some functionality that those players dont.
