Hi i'm a Windows vista user, and i've always liked this little option that Windows+L gives to my gaming capability, eg. running several copies at once.
However i dread the process between switching accounts, as i have 3 small children i have to keep my computer passworded, i wish there was an account manager that you could run, and simliar to alt+tab you could switch between the windows, rather than the alternitive windows vista offers, And it would be really helpful if you could log accounts off from, the account login screen doing this closes all applications ( warned by a "are you sure" (Y) (N) button)... I think i am looking for a preformance based OS.

Does windows 7 have any of the functions i stated above?
Whats all this "Windows 7 was my idea" stuff about, can i have my idea added?

Hello Perfect, welcome to Seven Forums!

Have you tried ctl+alt+del to change user accounts? Is that what you're asking?

No, i use windows+L already to do that...

its very unconvienent when you have say 5 accounts open, and you have to type a password for each one, as well as wait some time between switching.

I just think it would be a lot more practical if there was some sort of desktop tool that let u switch between accounts like using alt+tab.

Ubuntu has a windows manager, where you can switch between files on one windows with another, but there is no password and no protection.
