Your .dmp file points to HIDCLASS.SYS as the culprit..This is the driver for your USB ... Download the latest version from your motherboards support site and reinstall.. hope this helps...

Don't worry; Driver Verifier generally works very well. This is an old thread going back to Windows 7 RC and before.

ah that makes me feel a little better....not exactly sure how to use it though, followed all the steps on the forum...is there a way to see the drivers and if they are verified or is it a background program? dumb question probably i just built my first computer and am having a lot of problems, it sucks. hah

Driver verifier is a built in Windows diagnostic program. Its purpose is to stress drivers and find faulty ones. When it finds a faulty driver, it triggers a BSOD and, hopefully, that BSOD will identify the faulty driver.

Once you enable it, it runs in the background and you use your computer normally until it crashes. Using it requires a knowledge of BSOD analysis to interpret the dump files.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Hope this helps explain it.

It is a useful tool. We frequently have posters use it and upload their dump files in the Crashes and Debugging section. But I agree, it is not a tool for the average user.
