BFBC2 doesnt run on my laptop

Hi,

Recently, i had installed BattleField Bad Company 2 on my laptop. When i double click on the game exe file, it doesnt open up. The cursor changes to "loading" kind of cursor and then gets back to normal.
Tried to run on 1024x768 res and 1900x1028 res. Both didnt work.
Also tried to run as WinXP compatible, still no success.

But the same file, the game ran on another laptop of my friend.
Any solution, plz help me. I am dying not able to play the game.

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the game?

Yes, i have done that thrice. Still no show.

Did you update BFBC2 to it's latest build? R10

No i havent. Nor my friend who installed the same copy on his laptop. On his laptop, the game worked flawlessly.

One more prob. While installing NFS Most Wanted, it says it needs DirectX 9, but my laptop has DirectX 11. The game doesnt install. Why is this happening?
