BFBC2 mouse problems in browser

when i get to the browser in BFBC2 my mouse pointer will be on my right but items on far left light up. i cannot get past browser. win 7 home premium-Asus p6t- intel i7 920 -6GB corsair ddr3-Geforce gtx 295-corsair 850 watt psu-nothing o/c'd. i have BFBC2 on another drive o/s win xp running perfectly. can anybody help me?

Hi steelvoice,

Are you running BFBC2 in your monitor's native resolution? If not, see if you can switch to it using arrow keys for navigation if necessary. If that's not the issue, more questions: are you seeing this on any other menu screens besides the Server Browser? Can you enter a single player game successfully?

howdy walker A.yes i am at native resolution,my mouse cursor functions perfectly in all other games,i cannot enter single player because of the positional problem of the cursor,i cannot use the directional arrows to resolve this issue. thanks for response.

i've already reinstalled 2 times.i forgot to mention,when i initially installed win7 BFBC2 did function really well for one round,afterward i exited the game ,when i attempted to reconnect this all began and has not stopped. i then installed win7 on another drive but the results are similar.

Did you go messing with NV control panel/Catalyst settings making the game think one resolution while windows thinks another? Not familiar with catalyst but a quick check is to restore default settings on eveything and seeing if that fixes it. Next I would uninstall/reinstall video drivers. If that doesn't fix it look at mouse software like logitech's setpoint software and disable it and see if that clears it up.

try....................... bc2 exe --> settings --> compatibility --> check disable scaling with high dpi

so navigate to your shortcut (the one you start the ganme with) right click select settings etc etc

this was an old fix for the mouse pointer needing to be positioned a few inches ubove the menu you actually wanted to select in order to select it , worth a shot

tried everything at least 2 times...nothing working. bfbc2 plays without problems on other drives with WIN XP and VISTA.
