BFME2 - Inability to scroll due to multiple monitors

So I recently found my copy of Battle for Middle Earth 2, and decided to give it a whirl for nostalgia's sake. Only, the moment I get into a game, I'm met with a glaring issue - I cannot scroll across the map in one direction, because my mouse simply moves onto the other monitor.

So, what I have tried, is fiddling with the resolution settings on the game itself - no change. I don't have the option to run it in a window, or move it to my other monitor to see if it persists there. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I might be able to fix this, short of just disabling the other monitor during gameplay?

If your running dual monitors, and running them in extended mode, then un-extend and try the game that way. At least you will get to play it but only on one monitor.

I know this is old but of course people, like myself, still play this game and look for the important information about it. To lock your mouse on one screen you can use this free software for dual monitors.
Dual Monitor Tools download | SourceForge.net
It can lock the mouse to one screen via hotkeys on the fly. So there. Battle for Middle Earth 2 is still a fantastic game today even on Windows 10! I am sure they will remaster this soon since they are remastering Command and Conquer and Red Alert, coming out June 2020.
