Big Boot Problem

Alright guys, I need some help. Im running windows 7 on my computer and ive got a big issue. Im hanging on boot, to the point of lockup. EVERYTIME. I can only boot through safemode, which rules out a repair install.

The last thing I did was run a command to Bcdedit to allow unsigned drivers on boot, so I can install my audio. (that driver is fine, ive tested it). I restart my computer and it will hang on startup. Sometimes it will hang after login on the welcome screen, othertimes it will get about 1min into the desktop and then it will hang.

Now I thought windows restore automaticly was creating restore points, so thats out of the question. Dumb idea for them to not have it automaticly start.

But anyways, I cant boot normally. Anybody have any ideas on what I can do to get this fixed. Also one thing ive noticed is that when I uninstall all the devices not able to install, (onboard cardreader, modem, audio) it will ALWAYS install my audio, even if i tell it to delete the drivers.

Please help!!!

Ill be on and off, trying different things tonight. Also I already did the stupid 'startup diag' thing windows has and its stupid and pointless, it doesnt even do anything.

Try to boot off the Windows 7 Beta DVD and click on repair my computer, if it says problems have been found click on No or Cancel to repair them and reboot. Then open up command prompt and do the following:

bootrec /rebuildBCD then bootrec /fixboot

This will repair your bootloader and reset it to factory settings in case something you did messed it up somehow

Open the command prompt while still in the boot off the disk screen, or boot to safe mode and then do the command?

^ It didnt. I tried and tried and tried. It said it worked fine, but it never worked. When I did bootrec /rebuildbcd it would come up with 0 windows installs, and said it completed sucessfully. So i dont know, but this worked fine.
