Hello

i was surfing on the web searching a website where i could download musics,
then i went on a malicious website.

My computer was locked by a virus
when i start my computer, the desktop says that
i need to pay 100$ to get my computer unlocked via ukash and stuff
i couldn't do anything, no task bar, no icons
i reboot in safe mode, it was the same thing

THEN
i used windows defender offline on a usb
and i booted my computer from that usb
It scanned my pc, and get rid parts of that virus

i can now access my computer and files
BUT it seems that i don't have the administrator rights
and i still don't have any icons on my desktop

My computer : Win7 64bytes

Please help me

this virus is a pesky devil--see this page for remove instruction 'note step 17 as you will need a small program called RKill and you will also need Malwarebytes-see step 24 (note:this is only one of many removal guides for this virus-so read all the steps before you start).

How to remove the Ukash Virus - MalwareEXPERTS

to get RKill you can download it here:

RKill Download

get Malwarebytes 'free' here (use the free version--however the PRO version is only $25 and should pretty much keep problems from arising in the future as it will 'block' malicious sites and downloads--really it's the best $25 that I ever spent):

http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free

you may need another computer to do download these files as the Ukash virus will possibly block the ability to download and install files

Perhaps icons are hidden. Right click on your desktop, select view, and then makes sure show desktop icons is checked.

I think it would save you a lot of time and energy if you reformat the System Volume Drive and reinstall Windows 7. If your hard disk is partitioned then hope like hell that the other partitions are not infected.

Well FWIW I'm with wanchoo depending on how much gear you have on the machine I'd be doing a complete reinstall after running my dive through the Parted Magic (secure erase) and or the Partition Wizard and wipe it with 0's.
