i got a new motherboard today (asus p7p55 lx) and i see there are alot of bios updates for it . i downloaded
the newest one and tryed to flash it but it says ( rom file is incompatible with my existing bios). the existing
bios # is 1003 and the newest one on the list is 1201.

Updating the BIOS is safer than it used to be....but you can still brick a motherboard.....are you having any problems?

yes it keeps telling me the rom file is incompatible with my existing bios ?
i checked again on the asus site and it seems to be the right one .
not sure whats going on wth it so i asked here.
