BIOS Reset Automatically?

So last night, i was on my PC and everything runs smoothly. This morning when i woke up and boot up my PC, it prompts something along the lines that BIOS has been reset, etc. So i set it up again. After boot-up, my windows clock is messed up and in 'My Computer', there is a A: Floppy Disk Drive. I don't have any floppy drive since 1832 though. What happened?

Check the CMOS battery. It might be going bad or not seated properly.

Check the mobo website for a bios upgrade.

Not sure but I remember reading somewhere bad memory could cause this. Try removing all memory sticks but one and run the PC like that.

It sounds as though the motherboard battery has died. Simply replace it, following the instructions in your motherboard manual. The battery is usually a lithium button cell, type CR2032.

Tried restarting but that doesn't cause the error again. But i will change the battery in a bit though. Will update about this issue.

Alright, so i just changed the battery. Came back with a "Floppy Disk(s) Fail (40). CMOS Checksum error - Defaults loaded. Warning! CPU has been changed, etc etc etc." I went into BIOS and set everything all over again. For now, let's just assume it's fine.

But now, there's another issue; BSOD. I've got this for over 3 weeks now (not all the time but enough to make me kick my CPU for a second). BSOD error attached. Sorry for the quality as i took it with my cell phone. Any idea what could be done to get rid of this BSOD?

That can happen when changing a motherboard battery. What happens is that the CMOS (which is what the battery maintains) might end up in an unknown random state due to the loss of power, and you need to reset it to its defaults, usually by means of the motherboard jumper as well as replacing the battery. Apologies for not mentioning this.
